Penalty games reduce football to a single repeated duel, and the maths of it are unusually clean. The keeper covers the centre of the goal well and the corners badly, so shot placement dominates shot power almost entirely — a well-placed slow shot into the side netting beats a hard one straight at the middle. Where the format gets interesting is in the alternation: you shoot, then you keep, and keeping requires committing to a direction before the ball is struck. That turns the game into a read rather than a reaction, and against a repeated opponent it becomes a pattern-breaking exercise on both sides.

This title is best suited to players who want short competitive rounds and enjoy the mind-game of not being predictable.

1. Drag or aim to place your shot, then release to strike.
2. Target the corners. Power is far less valuable than placement in this format.
3. When keeping, commit to a side early — waiting until the ball is struck is usually too late.
4. Vary your own placement between attempts so an opponent or the AI cannot read you.

• Shooting straight at the keeper or missing the goal frame
• Conceding more goals than you score across the round

• Placement-weighted scoring, where corners beat centre regardless of power
• Alternating shooter and keeper roles
• Keeper dives requiring commitment before the strike
• Round-based shootout format rather than continuous play

• Stop shooting hard. A soft shot into the corner beats a rocket at the keeper every single time.
• As keeper you have to guess, so guess deliberately — pick a side before the run-up rather than freezing.
• Do not use the same corner twice in a row. Predictability is the only thing that makes a good placement fail.
